Exercises

Your sessions

Toe Curls & Grips

Stand on the slant board with your toes pointing toward the ceiling. Lift all ten toes off the board surface, then curl them downward as aggressively as possible — imagine trying to grip the board like a bird gripping a branch, or making a fist with your foot. Squeeze hard for 2 full seconds, then relax completely and repeat. Keep your heel and ball of foot firmly planted on the board throughout.

Sets: 3
Reps: 15
Hold: 2 sec squeeze
Rest: 30-45

Toe Waves (Intrinsic Activation)

Stand on the slant board with your toes pointing toward the ceiling. Keep your heel and the ball of your foot firmly glued to the board throughout. Try to lift only your big toe while actively pressing your four little toes down into the board. Hold for a moment, then switch — press the big toe down and lift the four little toes. Alternate slowly and with full concentration. This will feel extremely awkward at first — that is completely normal and actually indicates exactly how much these muscles need training.

Sets: 3
Reps: 10
Hold: /
Rest: 30-45

Short Foot (Arch Doming)

Stand on the slant board with your toes pointing toward the ceiling. Without curling your toes or gripping the board, try to slide the ball of your foot backward toward your heel — as if trying to make your foot shorter. As you do this you will see the arch of your foot rise upward and dome like a suction cup lifting off the board surface. That doming is the deep arch muscles contracting. Hold that tension for a full 5 seconds, then release completely and repeat. Do not let your toes curl— if they curl you are using the wrong muscles.

Sets: 3
Reps: 10
Hold: 5 sec
Rest: 30-45 sec

Tibialis Anterior Raise

Lean your back flat against the wall and position your heels on the elevated high end of the board so your toes point towards the floor. From your position against the wall with heels elevated on the board and toes pointing down the slope, lift your toes and the front of both feet as high as possible toward your shins. Pause for 1 full second at the top, squeezing the shin muscles, then lower slowly back down. Keep the movement controlled throughout — do not drop your feet.

Sets: 3
Reps: 15
Hold: 1 sec pause at top
Rest: 30-60 sec

Slant Board Ankle Eversion/Inversion

Stand sideways on the board so that one foot is higher than the other, creating a natural lateral tilt through your ankle. Hold onto a wall for balance if needed. From your sideways position on the board, slowly and deliberately rock your weight onto the outer edge of your foot, then roll it across to the inner edge. Keep the movement fully controlled throughout — never flop or rush from side to side. Focus on feeling the muscles on both sides of your ankle working to control the movement.

Sets: 3
Reps: 12 each direction
Hold: /
Rest: 30-45 sec
